The Pawnbroker’s Museum

The Pawnbroker’s Museumは、骨董品を展示するために建てられた空間で、明治時代から続く小林家が所有しています。展覧会が行われる建物は、日光のメインストリートにあるMeguri Caféの裏、駐車場を抜けたすぐ先にあります。「The Pawnbroker’s Museum」という名称は、100年前に印刷されたチラシからそのまま借用したものです。展覧会などで使用される際にのみ、一般公開しております。

会期：2026年8月1日（土）～8月30日（日）
開館時間：金・土・日曜日は11:00～17:00に一般公開、月～木曜日はご予約制で見学可能

The Pawnbroker’s Museum, a space built for displaying antiques, owned by the Kobayashi family, dating back to the Meiji period. The building housing the exhibition is located just past the parking lot behind Meguri Café on Nikko’s main street. We use the name The Pawnbrokers Museum, taken directly from a flyer printed 100 years ago. It is only open to the public went used for exhibitions.

Hours: Friday through Sunday Open to the public 11:00 – 17:00, Monday – Thursday viewings are available by appointment
